The Year in Review

As 2014 comes to a close I look back with no regrets! My goal this year was to make sure my camera never took more than a month’s rest. Basically I wanted to make sure that I had at least one photo shoot a month whether it was paid or not since 2013 consisted of having 3-4 months between photoshoots. Thank God I got way more than that! I think I averaged about 3 shoots a month whether it was personal or paid. I think I learned so much about posing and retouching techniques and had so many family and portrait shoots! I decided to look back at the shoots I had each month and pick the top 12 shoots. Now these aren’t necessarily my favorite shots from each shoot but I didn’t want to just share the same pics over and over. This was really hard to choose! The summer and fall months were really busy and I had multiple shoots in each month, but ultimately since I am primarily a fashion photographer, I decided to gear my choices towards those unless I had no fashion shoots in a particular month so a wedding and family shoot snuck in there. 🙂

My goal for 2015: Get published!!

Here are a few selections from the top 12 shoots of 2014 (in no particular order):
