As most of you know, I’m trying to pursue a career in fashion photography. However, because I don’t live in a fashion market and I have bills to pay in the meantime, I’ll absolutely do things like weddings and family portraits. As a gift to my husbands cousin, I decided to do her maternity shoot.
This was my first maternity shoot ever and I was actually pretty nervous about it. I’ve never had to help a pregnant woman get in the right pose or help her off of the floor or anything like that. And when she started to say she was hungry and tired and uncomfortable, I was internally freaking out.
When we were done with the shoot I was disappointed. I didn’t think I had many shots to work with and was kind of scared to start editing them for fear of only having like 2 good shots out of the whole hour and a half sunrise shoot.
